Return to demos- How many racquets can I try?
- You can take up to three demo racquets at a time.
- How long can I keep them?
- Demo racquets may be kept for one week at a time.
- Is there a demo fee?
- We do not charge for demos, but we keep a credit card on file while the racquets are out.
- What if I need more time?
- Keep in touch with us. If your demos are late, you may receive a text about late fees; simply reply and request more time. We try not to charge fees for late demos. We only charge customers who do not return the racquets and do not respond to us, or who violate the restringing policy below.
- Will I get text messages?
- By participating, you agree to receive text notifications and questions about your demo racquets. If a message is sent in error—for example, about a racquet you already returned—let us know and we will resolve it. Please do not block the texts; blocking them could lead us to assume you do not plan to return the demos.
- Can I restring a demo?
- No. Return demo racquets in the same condition in which they were borrowed and unaltered. Individuals, clubs, and other shops may not string our demos. If the strings break, leave them in the racquet as is and you will not be charged for the strings. If the strings are removed entirely or the racquet is restrung by anyone else, you will be charged the full price of the racquet and strings. There are no exceptions.
- Can I change anything else?
- You may change anything that does not permanently alter the racquet. If you change the base grip (the factory grip that is under the overgrip) you may be asked to pay to restore to the original grip. If you want to test different strings, we will work with you, but Second Serve must do the stringing.
- How do I check availability?
- Please call or text the location nearest you. Because demos go in and out quickly, we cannot confirm availability through our website.

We take pride in offering professional level stringing of the highest quality, fast turnaround, and low prices - we make no compromises in our service. Stringers are all trained on-site, and by the owner himself, only being allowed to touch a customer's racquet after showing the consistency and skills we expect. Even something as simple as putting an overgrip on a racquet is only done by employees who have been trained to our standards of consistency. Our service is the same every time, no matter who is doing the work.
We string on Wilson Baiardo and Babolat Evolution Tour machines, carefully maintained and regularly calibrated.
